The Welta Penti is a stylish compact 35mm half-frame camera introduced by VEB Welta Kamera-Werke in the Dresden suburb of Freital, East Germany for use with Agfa 's Karat film cartridge.

It produces half frame images, vertical images of 18mm by 24mm. The Penti II has a meter, but good luck finding one that still work. Anyways, you have full manual.

The Penti II was an upgraded model from the original Penti with a new body, lens, and adding a coupled selenium cell light meter. These cameras have a trademark gold front and rear plate along with a gold trimmed Meyer-Optik Domiplan lens. The middle part of the body came in a variety of colors like black, white, teal, and even pink.
